As a new student, reaching the goals you set out to accomplish can be difficult when it come to getting the results you want. When you are not getting the results you want, you need to ask your self some questions because it’s not always easy to pinpoint the exact reason. Here are a few examples of questions you should ask yourself:
- Am I eating the right type of food to get the results I want
- Am I training enough to understand the techniques?
- Am I giving my body enough rest?
- Am I being lazy and staying at the house?
These are all really good questions to ask yourself. In the beginning it can be hard as a new student to get the results you want if you don’t understand what’s stopping you from getting there. Another big one you should do is ask a coach for help!!! So many times students do not ask a coach for help and it baffles me as we coaches are here to help you in any way, shape, or form. A lot of the coaches are very knowledgeable in so many different arenas, whether it’s working out, eating healthy, or getting better at Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing. I can promise you if one coach does not have the answer we will reach out to other coaches that we know can help. Lastly don’t beat yourself up if you’re not getting the results you want. It happens to all of us and with a little bit of correction it’s easy to get you back on track.
