Are you looking to try something new? Are you interested in an effective fitness program, one that will not only help you stay fit and active but also equip you with self-defense skills? Our womenís beginner MMA programs are a great way to try something new while also providing an excellent workout. We have four school locations throughout the Houston area for your convenience.

Beginner Kickboxing for Women in HoustonOften, those starting into MMA are nervous about how the classes will be. You might worry that youíre not strong or fast enough, or that you donít have the flexibility to pull off some of the more advanced maneuvers. Our classes address this by providing a safe, friendly environment run by knowledgeable teachers. They provide support and encouragement as well as skilled instruction. In our beginner classes, youíll start where youíll be able to grow best as our instructors work with you, not judge or punish you for every mistake.

The purpose of our beginner programs is to teach the fundamentals of MMA techniques. This will give you a solid understanding of how to execute various offensive and defensive maneuvers, which can provide you with a sense of confidence as well as enable you to protect yourself should the need arise.

Getting Started

To begin your MMA journey, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary private lesson. There, an instructor will work with you one-on-one to evaluate your current skill level, answer questions, and make recommendations on the class you should start with.

When you attend your first class, you can expect a warmup followed by instruction and application. Be sure to bring comfortable exercise clothing as well as a towel, water bottle, and snack if desired. To get started, give us a call to speak with a professional or fill out our online form.
