okay guys frost here with hi a quick tip
a lot of times when we start off in
jiu-jitsu we start off on our knees
because if we start off standing we
increase the level of injury from when
we fall down so we start here to be safe
and when we start we slap hands and go
and I see a lot of guys they spend a lot
of time they just do this kind of
wrestling match from the knees this this
isn’t a real position you know if this
was a street fight I’d be standing up
I’d be throwing some knees in a jujitsu
match I’d stand up and take him down
but in class we want to continue to
honor the safety and stay on our knees
so what I truly like to do is when I
start off I’ll start off with kind of
what the up and one me down and I’ll
slap hands with my partner and if he’s
real aggressive and he wants to to play
that’s cool I’ll play my guard or if
he’s just kind of taking it easy
with slap hands and go I’ll give him
some energy to play his guard
so don’t spit a hole at a time and no
man’s laying there in a wrestling match
