Trascription:

hey guys welcome to the Elite MMA tip of
the week
take 279 hello everyone so today we’re
going to be going over the standard
point system of Brazilian jiu-jitsu so
we’re gonna start with our takedowns
okay I take down scores you two points
whether it be is some sort of wrestling
technique or whether it be some sort of
Judo technique and that gets you two
points for the takedown
the next position is our sweeps okay so
a sweep gives you two points whether it
be some sort of closed guard sweep or
some sort of open guard sweep and that’s
two points for the sweep
the next position is our guard passing
okay a guard passing gives you three
points whether it be some sort of below
passing
or maybe some sort of high pass and that
gives you three points the next position
is our knee on belly okay our knee on
belly scores you two points two points
for the knee on belly and our last
position is our most dominant position
gives you four points and that is the
full amount and that is the back take
four points for the mount four points
for the back thank you guys for watching
and of course a submission ends the
match we look forward to seeing you on
the map
