Classic Boxing Training & Classes
In addition to our mixed martial arts classes, Elite MMA also offers classic boxing programs at all four of our Houston-area locations, including Baytown, Greenway/Galleria, Houston Westheimer, and Kingwood.
With Elite MMA's boxing classes, you'll get a high-intensity workout that burns calories while sculpting your body. Classic boxing teaches you to use proper body mechanics such as footwork, core mobility, and blazing hand speed. You'll learn how to jab, cross, hook, and many other classic boxing moves. You will end up in a puddle of sweat and love every minute of it. Not only is the class a great workout, but it will also teach you valuable self-defense skills.
All of our boxing classes are taught by Pat Swan, who has fought all over the world against the best competition including 5 world champions. Whether you are brand new to boxing or are looking for an advanced workout, he will help develop your skills and improve your fitness.
What can I expect in class?
The first half of this class is devoted to drills and technique practice to improve footwork, offense and defense. The second half gives you the opportunity to spar with professional boxer Pat Swan. You will be guided through the sparring session, so you are not going to be fed to the lions and have your head pounded in. Pat will help you to progress at your own speed. Our classes are available for men and women, and we also offer a kid's boxing program at Elite MMA.
"Elite MMA provides a great environment for training! They offer an awesome variety of classes and all the coaches/instructors/trainers are very helpful and friendly."
