What should I bring?
ATTIRE:
Wear comfortable exercise attire; you will receive your kimono (also called a gi) at your first lesson. This is included in your registration fee.Wear comfortable exercise attire. Don't have martial arts equipment at home? Don't worry, we will provide this for you at your first session.
EQUIPMENT:
Please bring a towel, water bottle and a great attitude!

Boxing Classes in Houston

Also known as the "Sweet Science", classic boxing is a great self-defense program which utilizes proper body mechanics including footwork, core mobility, and blazing hand speed. Not only is the class practical for self-defense purposes, but it is also a tremendous workout. You will end up in a puddle of sweat and love every minute of it. Taught by Pat Swan, this class is geared toward any skill level.

What can I expect in class?

The first half of this class is devoted to drills and technique practice to improve footwork, offense and defense. The second half gives the student the opportunity to spar with professional boxer Pat Swan. The student is guided through the sparring session which allows fast progression. In other words, you are not going to be fed to the lions and have your head pounded in. Pat will help you to progress at your own speed. Our classes are available for men and women, and we also offer a kid's boxing program at Elite MMA.
